The energy savings

The energy saving compared to traditional light sources is about :
- 93% compared to incandescentlamps
- 90% compared to halogen lamps
- 70% compare to metal halide lamps
- 60% compared to fluorescent lamps

So if with a traditional incandescent lamp you have a power consumption of 100 watts, with Sololed technology the consumption will be of only 10 watts (ratio 1/10).

You have a relative sparing even for the climatization, in fact, the LED lamps, unlike all the others, do not heat.

Quality and color of the light

The LED branded Sololed have three different colours of light: it starts from the warm light, the yellow one, which corresponds to 3000K on the Kelvin scale, in the middle you have the natural light, sunlight, 4000K, with the great advantage of not changing the colors, the temperature that's the most popular, in furniture, in clothes shops and in all those places that need a "real" light, it is preferred to the other colors. Finally there is the cold light, that much more than simple white, 6000K, which is used mainly for illuminating roads, tunnels, etc.

The LEDs increase the quality of images captured by security cameras. (IR)

Luminous efficiency

The luminous efficiency of a light source is the ratio between the luminous flux and the input power and is expressed in lumens/watt. Currently the Sololed LEDs have a luminous efficacy of 90lm/W.
13 lm/W incandescent lamps
16 lm/W halogen lamps
50 lm/W fluorescent lamps
- 90 lm/W LED Sololed

Pollution

The Sololed LEDs contain no harmful gases to the health and do not have toxic substances, unlike fluorescent and discharge lamps (metal halide and sodium vapor, mercury).

Total absence of light pollution: the LED shines, but theydon’t saturat the environment.

They don’t emit ultraviolet rays (which in general are harmful to humans for long exposures in the time.) since each diode produce a precise wave lenght.
