Bioethanol is a completely biodegradable fuel that contains no sulfur, and therefore, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide emissions are extremely low, thus avoiding harm to both the environment and the health of those in the home. Even installing the fireplace itself is not at all problematic, as it does not require connection to the electricity or gas system. Consequently, the fireplace can be placed anywhere inside the home, depending on individual needs. Furthermore, the flame produced has a warm and elegant appearance and manages to recreate the intimate atmosphere typical of traditional wood-burning fireplaces.

Does a bioethanol fireplace really heat?
Of course, like all real flames, biofireplace burners give off real heat! Typically, a liter of bioethanol produces about 3 to 4 kW/h, depending on the type of burner, from the moment of combustion. Furthermore, a bioethanol fireplace has a 100% efficiency because there is no heat loss through the flue and all the heat produced remains in the room.
How much surface area do bioethanol fireplaces heat?
On average, bioethanol fireplaces can heat up to an area of about 20-30 square meters, depending on the burner capacity and the intensity of the flame. It should be noted, however, that bioethanol fireplaces should not be considered the sole source of heating in a home: they are, first and foremost, a decorative accessory that, by emitting a live flame, also heats the room, in addition to creating a pleasant atmosphere.
How much do bioethanol fireplaces consume?
Bioethanol fireplace consumption figures are indicative, as they depend on the individual models, the burner capacity, and the flame power (which is adjustable in many models). On average, a bioethanol fireplace that is lit for 3 or 4 hours a day at maximum flame consumes 5 liters of bioethanol per week. If the flame is kept at minimum, 1 liter of bioethanol lasts up to 10 hours.
Is a permit required to use a bioethanol fireplace?
No. Like all free-standing fireplaces, it is not subject to any legislation, nor does it require special permits.
Does a bioethanol fireplace require a flue?
Our bioethanol fireplaces do not require a flue because the combustion of bioethanol does not produce toxic substances, odors, or fumes that must be vented through the flue.
